The 25th annual Hopkinton Tap-Off Tournament will be held Friday, Nov. 21, through Sunday, Nov. 23. The Tap-Off brings together about 200 teams from towns all over the area for the region's premier preseason travel tournament. This tournament is for town travel teams in Grades 4-8, boys and girls.
Teams are guaranteed three games (there are no playoffs). There are games Friday night between 5:30 and 9 p.m., Saturday between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., and Sunday (between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m..
The team fee to enter is $395, and there is no on-site admission fee for parents. You can pay with a credit card (via PayPal) or Venmo after registering. Checks may be sent to Hopkinton Basketball Association, P.O. Box 336, Hopkinton, MA 01748.
We have a no-tolerance rule regarding behavior. Fans are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship — no disrespect toward officials, coaches, players and other fans. Violators are subject to removal from the gym.
Again this year, there will be tournament apparel available for purchase at the Hopkinton High School Athletic Center.
