HBA spring basketball program 2019

The HBA will hold seven-week basketball clinics for players in Grades K-8 this spring. Everyone is eligible to participate, even if they did not play travel or rec basketball over the winter. The fee for all clinics is $85.


The Grade 3-8 girls clinics will be overseen by Hopkinton High School girls varsity coach Mike Greco. The Grade 3-8 boys clinics will be overseen by Hopkinton High School boys varsity coach Tom Keane. The grade K-2 clinics will be run by HBA coaches.


Below are the schedules. Gym locations are subject to change. Changes from original schedule are highlighted in red.


GIRLS GRADES 3-8: The clinics are scheduled to be held on Tuesdays from 7-8:15 p.m., starting April 2 and ending May 21 (no clinic the week of April vacation). They will be held at Doyle Gym (Hopkinton Middle School lower gym).


​BOYS GRADES 3-5: The clinics are scheduled to be held on Thursdays from 6-7:15 p.m., starting April 4 and ending May 23 (no clinic the week of April vacation). They will be held at Doyle Gym (Hopkinton Middle School lower gym).


BOYS GRADES 6-8: The clinics are scheduled to be held on Thursdays from 7:15-8:30 p.m., starting April 4 and ending May 23 (no clinic the week of April vacation). They will be held at Doyle Gym (Hopkinton Middle School lower gym).


BOYS AND GIRLS GRADES K-2: The clinics are scheduled to be held on Thursdays from 5:45-6:45 p.m., starting April 4 and ending May 23 (no clinic the week of April vacation). They will be held at Center School.

NOTES: Grade 3-8 participants should wear a green and white reversible jersey, or if they don't have one then a white or light gray shirt. All players also should bring a basketball (Size 29.5 for boys Grades 6-8, Size 28.5 for boys Grades 3-5, Size 28.5 for girls Grades 3-8) and water bottle -- both with their name on it. The coaches will have a limited number of basketballs for those who do not own one. For Grades K-2 the coaches will have size 27.5 basketballs for the players to use.
