The HBA will offer a free clinic for boys and girls in Grades 4 and 5 in advance of travel basketball tryouts. No registration is necessary. The purpose is to demonstrate some of the drills that the HBA will run at tryouts and give the players a chance to get some practice. The clinic will be held at Doyle Gym (lower gym at Hopkinton Middle School) on Tuesday, Sept. 5, from 6-7:10 p.m.
The HBA will hold a parent information night in conjunction with the pre-tryout clinic. HBA board members will give a brief presentation about travel and rec basketball and then answer any questions. The presentation will start at 7:15 p.m. in Doyle Gym. Board members also will be available to answer questions before and after the session. Parents of players in any grade are welcome to attend the information session.
