by our constituents (players/parents/coaches) as a highly enjoyable experience.
Operating Model – Executive Committee consisting of seven decision makers. First year self
anointed, elected as dictated by HBA future policy. It is also anticipated that these committee
members can/will also participate on the Operating committees. Advisory Committees will be formed to
help on specific areas of need or focus (i.e. legal support, player development, community involvement, high school coaches).
These will be appointed/nominated by the board and expected to be very dynamic. Operating Committee will be
set up to run/lead the various “entities” (i.e. In Town Coordinators; Travel Coordinator(s) (Metro West, South Central),
Operations Coordinator, Tournament Coordinators, Training and Development Coordinator). Coaches will fall
under the In Town and Travel Coordinators and adhere to the HBA guidelines.
Commitment - Any person participating on the Executive and Operating committees will need to
commit to a minimum of four hours per month to work issues behind the scenes and one face-to-face meeting
every month.
